Our Damp Elimination Process

Ecodry’s masonry dehumidification process involves the installation of one or more electronic devices that emit a dynamic magnetic field on walls that are affected by rising damp. The technology is based on the principle whereby the magnetic field emitted by the device generates eddy currents within the moist masonry which interfere with the electrical charges and potentials naturally occurring in the moist masonry. This interference slowly diminishes the capillary action thereby reducing the absorption of moisture. Over a period this has the effect of stopping the absorption of moisture and drying out the wall.

An unintrusive process that only involves the placement of small electronic devices on the affected walls and their connection to a standard 240 volt socket.

Preservation of the masonry walls (integrity of the stone blocks) of the building by stopping rising damp and allowing walls to dry out.

Improvement of air quality inside the building by eliminating damp.

4.

Improving the thermal performance of the building in areas where previously damp given the reduction of thermal conductivity of the walls by eliminating the moisture in the walls.
